We are hiring! Do you know someone who loves helping contractors?
Go ahead and test it now! If Contractor Foreman is ever acting wonky, click on your profile icon in the top right of the screen and click Reload & Clear Cache. This will resolve most browser issues.
We should not have waited as long as we did, but you can now use the Back button in your browser to go back to the previous record or page that you were viewing.
A fixed toolbar has been added to the bottom of the screen. The left contains dedicated buttons for chat and the right contains shortcuts that were previously at the top.
Significant improvements have been made to this module. We’ve made it easier to create new Project folders, sub folders, bulk delete items, and upload items.
The Inspections, Purchase Orders, Bills, Permits, and Payments dashboards have been updated to the new UI. It’s a slow process but you will continue to see new improvements with each update.
When progress invoicing, you now have the choice of entering a $ or % amount.
In addition to showing you the Amount Billed and the Total, we now show the Amount Remaining.
Wage Rates are now their own Permission in Roles. This allows you to give Users access to the Directory > Employee section while keeping the pay rates hidden.
An enhancement has been added making it even easier to set the amount of each Sub Contract item being added to a Bill.
You can now enable geofence for clocking out to ensure that your employees were on site when they clocked out and not already at home. Additionally, you can set a default radius and the maximum has also been increased.
When permission is granted, you can allow your admins (or others) to create a Crew Card and assign another team member as the Supervisor.
Each item (in an Items table) now has an Internal Note and Description field. As the item moves from one module to another (Estimate > Bid > PO > Bill, etc), the two notes transfer with it.
You can now mark a Section as Optional. We have also changed the color of the Optional text so that it is more noticeable for you and your client.
A description field has been added to serve as a reminder of the purpose for the material being purchased.
You can schedule a reminder to be emailed to the assigned contact prior to the meeting time.
The same Bulk Markup tool that exists in Estimates now exists in Change Orders. Additionally, you can import items from an Estimate or from a CSV file into a CO.
You can now record injuries for each individual on the Crew Sheet. Doing so will automatically create an Incident entry.
A new option for NET 45 has been added to the Financial Settings. Additionally, you can define the default terms per Customer and Vendor (and soon Contractor).
When you associate a Customer to a tax rate, that rate is automatically pulled into the Project and into any Invoices that are created against the Project. This can be revised per Project.
The order of the projects listed in the Gantt Chart is now based on Start Date.
You can now change the cost codes to appear within the Time Card dropdown based on Code Name or Code #.
The Phone number is no longer a required field.
A Taxable field now exists in the customers directory record. This will sync if connected to QBO or QBD.
If you are a QBO AUS user, you will now see a Tax field on the Expenses.
We’ve added action icons in more places where you see a contacts record making it easier to send them a text, email, or call.
The AIA file can now be exported in Excel and as a PDF for added security and convenience.
Within your User Settings, you can now define a Default Expense Account so that you are not constantly selecting the same value each time you create an Expense.
